We meet Jake who is has been able to an angelic creature called a Shepherd all of his life. His Shepherd has been there to guide him throughout his life, but most of all help him become survive a life threatening bus crash. Yael is a college student who was drawn to the hospital where Jake is a resident by an unfortunate accident. She is drawn to Jake after seeing him in the hospital. She has known about the Shepard from her Savta and knows she is special. What she doesn’t know is she s Jake’s Companion. This story shows us a new universe where super natural beings help the humans come together to face the forces of good and evil. It also shows how there is someone for everyone. Everyone can have a caring found family.
